The ELAC S123 is equipped with a set of stereo RCA/LFE line input jacks for connecting the active subwoofer to your AV or stereo receiver/preamp. It also offers speaker-level inputs and outputs, if needed. Pre-installed rubber feet help isolate the subwoofer enclosure from the floor to prevent unwanted distortion caused by vibrations. These rubber feet can be removed if you plan to use more robust vibration isolation feet.

The Elac DS123 will detect when an audio signal is being sent to the amplifier and will turn itself on. Also, to save power, the subwoofer will turn itself off after 15 minutes of no audio signal and inactivity. You can also manually turn the subwoofer on/off using the power switch on the rear panel. There is an LED on the back of the subwoofer that will glow green to indicate that the subwoofer is on, and glow red when the subwoofer is off or in standby mode.

Specifications:

Speaker type: Active subwoofer, Closed cabinet design
Woofer: 12" Polypropylene cone with textured surface
Low frequency: 28 Hz @ 3dB, 26 Hz @ 6dB
Crossover Frequency: 50 to 150 Hz
Maximum amplifier power: (RMS/Peak) 200 / 400
Width: 360 mm
Depth: 378 mm
Height: 360 mm
Net weight: 13.7 kg
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) <0.1%

The Elac DS123 is an active subwoofer Built with a custom 12″ woofer and a high-efficiency Class D amplifier with 400W of peak power.
