95 years of innovation!<\/strong>
On September 1, 2016, ELAC celebrated its 90th anniversary. The new speaker series Debut and Uni-Fi were presented, as well as the Discovery Music Streamer, an integrated amplifier from the EA series and the high-end high-end speaker Concentro. ELAC has positioned itself for the future with these new products!\u00a0<\/p>

In a world of ever-changing brands, products and trends, ELAC draws on its heritage with a vision to move thinking beyond the present. This is ELAC, founded on a commitment to creating the best sound in the world. It began on September 1, 1926 in Kiel, Germany, when Electroacustic GmbH was founded, focusing on the development of sonar technology and the research of signal and sound channels in air and water.<\/p>

ELAC's passion for music and fascination with sound followed with their first consumer audio product, the PW1 turntable in 1948. ELAC continued to lead the growing audio industry with innovative turntables and electronics. During the 1970s and 1980s, every serious music lover had a high-quality turntable, and a lucky few owned an ELAC, the backbone of the best sound systems.<\/p>

By 1984, ELAC began designing loudspeakers in collaboration with electroacoustic loudspeaker specialists AXIOM. A year later, ELAC's newly developed 4Pi omnidirectional tweeter, a driver that combines extended range with wide dispersion, bringing true high end to premium sound. He turned the listening world on its collective ear and launched ELAC into the company of the most elite speaker manufacturers.<\/p>

ELAC and innovation go hand in hand, and in 1993 ELAC introduced the JET folded ribbon tweeter. With an extended frequency response of up to 35 kHz, the JET tweeter proved that a driver whose response exceeds the limits of human hearing sounds better across the entire range. The JET has been continuously refined and is used today in home and other applications.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
