The Topping DX9 Discrete is a balanced DAC and headphone amplifier with a special 16-element PSRM 1-bit DAC that eliminates conventional chip limitations, delivering micro-detail and superior tonal accuracy. The discrete NFCA headphone amplifier features 7,080mW ×2 into 32Ω with near-zero distortion, PEQ and precise balanced volume control. It can be used as a DAC for active monitors, a powerful headphone amplifier or a flawless preamp for your main system.

The Topping DX9 Discrete features USB, Bluetooth, two optical, two coaxial and fits easily into any system. IIS supports PCM and DSD512 up to 768 kHz. The USB uses the XMOS XU-316 processor and Thesycon driver for perfect playback on Windows and has excellent compatibility with other plug-and-play systems.

While the Topping DX9 Discrete controls every step of the digital-to-analog process, the color display allows switching between the FFT spectrum, VU meter and playback information. For the ultimate connection there is an integrated Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 module that supports LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC.
