The Topping DX5 II is a new model that combines a balanced DAC and headphone amplifier. This is the successor to the popular DX5 model with upgraded internals, wider connectivity and improvements in user experience. Dual ES9039Q2M DACs provide the decoding core, while an all-new X-Hybrid amplifier circuit drives your headphones, and the updated Aurora UI and PEQ system offer precise and powerful sound customization.

Two ES9039Q2M chips handle the digital conversion – one per channel. This means lower crosstalk, better picture quality and improved specifications: a signal-to-noise ratio of 133 dB, a dynamic range of 133 dB and distortion of just 0.00006%.

The Topping DX5 II with its four-channel, fully balanced headphone amplifier offers 4.4mm balanced, 4-pin XLR balanced and 6.35mm single-ended outputs.

The desktop software lets you adjust 10 independent frequency bands – adjusting frequency, gain and Q-factor. Save multiple profiles, apply different EQs to speakers and headphones, and import and export curves.

AURORA IN:
The 2.0-inch color display and buttons allow for quick and clear control. Change the background color. Choose between FFT, VU meter, or playback information display. Assign a button to control what you use most.

Powered by the QCC5125 chip, the DX5 II supports Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC. You get up to 96kHz/24bit streaming without cables – useful for connecting to a TV, tablet, or streaming box.
