The Topping DX1 uses the latest AK4493S chips, the sub-subflagship offering of AKM's VELVET Sound technology. It provides plug-and-play functionality, turning your computer into a high-fidelity sound source, compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11, MAC, Linux, iOS and Android systems. While Windows ASIO applications require driver installation, the USB hardware, based on XMOS XU208 and Thesycon custom drivers, ensures stability and reliability, without the need for additional power adapters. Despite its compact size, the DX1 delivers a powerful output of up to 280mW x2, making it suitable for a variety of audio setups. With its Line Out interface with fixed volume, the DX1 can serve as a pure DAC, ideal for use with headphone amplifiers, speaker amplifiers and other audio equipment.
