A DAC, or digital-to-analog converter, is a key component for enjoying superior sound quality. Nowadays, sound is often stored and transmitted in digital form, meaning it is written as numerical data. In order to hear that sound, we need to convert it back into an analog signal – a signal that can be played back through speakers or headphones.
