The FiiO RR11 is a stylish digital radio with an analog dial. It also doubles as a headphone amplifier. It comes with headphones with a 3.5mm jack and three pairs of ear tips. The FiiO RR11 features a Silicon Labs Si4831 FM radio chip. It receives a digital radio signal and converts it to analog. The mechanical station selector mimics an analog PVR (phase voltage regulator) setting, like grandma's kitchen radio. The radio chip handles the entire processing chain from antenna input to decoding to audio output and provides robust reception. The FiiO RR11 has a built-in antenna, but also uses the headphone cable as such. The 3 FM bands provide ultra-wide FM coverage and therefore worldwide reception.
